Starting a New Meeting

Reasons for starting a new meeting vary, but the way to go is always the same. Important to establishing an A.A. meeting is the

• need for one as expressed by at least two or three alcoholics
• the cooperation of other A.A. members
• a meeting place
• a coffeepot
• A.A. literature and meeting list. You may be eligible for our “New meeting starter pack”. Please contact your intergroup literature person for more information
• other supplies.

Once the meeting is off for a good start, it would be helpful to inform the aa-netherlands website, the local intergroup office and the General Service Office. These resources can provide much support.
