AA, people from all corners of society, young, old, men, women of all professions and different kinds of social backgrounds come together on meetings.
The purpose of all A.A. group meetings, as our Preamble states, is for A.A. members to share “their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.”
Going to an AA meeting is simple. You find out where and when there is a meeting and you just turn up. That’s it.
Please note that no notification is needed to participate in a meeting. read more about AA meetings
